About Me
Jeffrey L. Windmiller
Attorney at Law, APC
A Lawyer Who Gets It
I've spent my career helping businesses and professionals work through tough legal situations. I understand litigation strategy, I know the law, and I've got the courtroom experience to back it up.
I went to Thomas Jefferson School of Law, and over the years I've focused on what I'm really good at: construction disputes, insurance fights, and helping other professionals deal with ethics issues. I prepare thoroughly, communicate clearly, and think strategically.
Here's the thing - good legal work isn't just about knowing the law. It's about understanding your business, your goals, and what actually matters to you. I give practical advice that makes sense for your real-world situation.
My office is in downtown San Diego at The Koll Center, and I work with clients across San Diego County and throughout California. I'm licensed in all California state courts and stay current on everything that matters to my practice areas.

What I'm About
A few things that matter to me and how I run my practice.
Smart Strategies
I think through every angle and come up with creative solutions that actually work for your situation - not some cookie-cutter approach.
Personal Attention
No getting passed around to associates or paralegals. When you hire me, you work with me. I know your case because it's my case too.
Honest & Ethical
I shoot straight with clients, play fair with opposing counsel, and respect the courts. Good ethics isn't just right - it gets better results.
Why Ethics Matter
Professional ethics isn't just something I help other lawyers with - it's how I run my own practice. I believe you can be a fierce advocate while still playing by the rules. Actually, I think doing things the right way usually gets better results.
Working with attorneys on their ethics issues has given me a front-row seat to what can go wrong when corners get cut. That keeps me focused on doing things right in my own practice.
Bottom line: I'm honest with my clients, fair with opposing counsel, and respectful to the courts. It's good for business, good for the profession, and it's just the right way to practice law.
